At the Athletic Club of Ames we take a holistic approach to fitness. As part of our preventative medicine approach, we have a health coach on staff that tracks members health and fitness progress from day 1, tracking body composition, HRV, cardiovascular health, movement range of motion assessment, absolute and relative strength, and so much more! With these tools our staff recommends nutrition plans, and prescribes evidence based exercise progression models specific to each individuals needs and goals. We understand the right nutritional balance after exercise restores energy levels, reduces fatigue, and helps the body repair and build strength. For that reason we provide our members with complimentary nutritional drinks every visit to the gym.
